FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Where can I read the rules and scoring calculations?

See the Tournament Rules page and each category’s Rules & scoring section. Soccer group points are 3 per win, 1 per draw and 0 per loss. Percentage weightages, task-point values and numerical penalties are awaiting the final rulebook.

Can students or robots be shared between teams?

A student may compete in only one main-event team on tournament day, and a registered robot cannot be shared between teams.

Who can participate?

School teams and approved independent/Open entries. Teams have 2 to 3 students and enter one main competition. The highest school grade in the team determines its school division: Grades 3–5, 6–8 or 9–12.

Which controllers are allowed?

Only Arduino (standard or protected variant) and ESP32 in a protected version are allowed. Raspberry Pi, Linux single-board computers and unprotected ESP32 boards are not permitted.

How does registration work?

Participants can sign up with Google or mobile and password. Email and mobile are required. Register a team, add the roster and robot overview, then track registration and technical inspection approvals in your workspace.

What happens on tournament day?

Teams check in, pass technical inspection and compete in their scheduled runs or matches. Follow the announced reporting slots, safety briefing and appeal window. Official results are checked before publication.

Is student data shown publicly?

No sensitive participant information is exposed on public pages. Media is published only after consent-aware review.

Can we appeal a score?

Yes, through the structured appeals workflow after scores are published, subject to eligibility rules defined for the edition.
